Vertex Metal Detector
The unique Fortress Phantom Vertex Metal Detector utilizes the latest Digital Signal Processing technology to detect and reject ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including stainless steel. With the highest processing power, Phantom systems are renowned for their superior speed, accuracy and ease-of-use.
Ideal for inline processing applications where space is limited, the ultra-slim Vertex detects metal contaminants in freefalling product prior to fi nal packaging. Typically situated between a Multihead Weigher and a Vertical Form Fill Seal machine, product is gravity fed through the detector's aperture before being sealed in a pouch by a bagger.
Vertex is the best-suited solution for applications where packaging is metallic or too large for standard detectors. Using Core DSP technology, the system detects the smallest metal contaminants including pieces of wire, shavings and swarf.
Vertex includes a mountable remote control box that provides all the intelligence and fi rst-rate functionality of Phantom digital technology. Additionally, custom designed support frames are available, allowing for easy installation.
